SoulStory

This page explains how information is handled in SoulStory. Review the policy carefully and contact us if you have questions.

Version: Draft 1.0Effective: REPLACE BEFORE PUBLICATION

RoManiacX Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) develops and maintains SoulStory. This policy must be reviewed and finalized by the developer before being treated as the app’s official privacy policy.

About this policy

This is a starter policy page for SoulStory. It is not ready for submission to Google Play until the developer verifies and completes every section against the released app, local storage and backup behavior, sharing functionality, and any advertising or third-party SDKs.

Journal entries and mood data

Explain whether journal entries, mood selections, quotes, settings, or other user-created content are stored only on the device or transmitted elsewhere. Be explicit about any optional backup, restore, sync, or sharing feature.

Information collected

List all information the app collects or processes, including diagnostics, device identifiers, analytics, advertising identifiers, and support communications where applicable. Do not state that the app collects no data until every SDK and platform integration has been checked.

Use of information

Describe the specific purposes for which each data category is used, including core journaling functionality, backup and restore, user-initiated sharing, app stability, or advertising if those features exist.

Third-party services

List any third-party SDKs or providers included in the shipped build and explain their role and data handling. Include links to their privacy notices. If no third-party services are used, verify that this remains true for the production build.

Retention and deletion

Explain how users can delete entries and other app data, how backup copies are handled, and how long any data held by the developer or service providers is retained.

Security and audience

Describe reasonable safeguards and identify the app’s intended audience accurately. Avoid promising that data is completely secure or making unverified claims about children’s privacy.
